The Company is a translation agency which offers high quality translation and editing services in Chinese and English. Since its establishment in 1994, it has been very successful and handled a variety of translation projects on fund prospectuses, market commentaries, annual reports, business proposals and training manuals as well as websites and video programs for corporations with a business focus in the Greater China Region.

In addition to corporate and public relations material, we specialize in the areas of corporate finance, fund investment, training, management and health care. Our core staff are graduates with degrees in languages or translation from respected universities in both Hong Kong and overseas. Combined, they offer a wealth of unique experiences from many diverse areas of competence.

Team Profiles

Po-king Chan is the founder and Director of the Company. During her twenty years' experience in training, resource development and translation services, Po-king has handled a diverse range of translation and publication projects, from corporate brochures, newsletters, and manuals to anthologies, websites, investment and annual reports. Over the years, she has built up a dedicated team of in-house translators with extensive experience and professional qualifications, and a strong client base including public and multi-national organizations. Currently, she is the managing editor of the Company.

Po-king graduated from the University of Hong Kong, majoring in Chinese Language. She has a Master of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK, and a Master of Business Administration from the Northern Territory University, Australia, where she was named "Best Graduating Student" for her MBA study.

As the Principal Translation Officer for the Company, Linda Tai assists the Director in project management, quality assurance and client communication. A seasoned financial and legal translator, Linda leads by example and has successfully worked on projects for a wide range of clients, including multinational financial institutions such as ABN AMRO Private Bank, Blackrock, Citigroup, GAM, HSBC and Man Investments.

Linda joined our Company in 1997. Prior to that, she was a Police Interpreter for the Hong Kong Government, responsible for translation of statements and related documents for the Hong Kong Police Force. Linda has more than fifteen years' experience in the field and holds a BA in Translation and Chinese from the former Hong Kong Polytechnic.

Vivian Li joined the Company in 2002 and has amassed more than six years of solid experience in financial and legal translation. She has handled a wide range of projects ranging from fund commentaries, annual reports, and press releases to product sheets, marketing brochures and sales kits, customized for the Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan markets. The clients she serves include renowned international banks and financial institutions, such as Allianz Global Investors, ABN AMRO, Deutsche Bank, Legg Mason and UBS.

Before joining the Company, Vivian worked as a chief editor and headed the bi-lingual editing division of an international marketing company. She was awarded a BA from the University of Hong Kong and Diploma in Translation by the Chartered Institute of Linguists, UK.

With more than seven years' experience in translation, editing and copywriting, Stella Ng joined the Company in 2005 in her current role, with specific responsibility for corporate and financial translation. The clients she serves include multinational financial groups such as ABN AMRO, Aberdeen International Fund Managers, Julius Baer, Franklin Templeton, GAM, Henderson Global Investors, HSBC and Invesco. Before joining us, she worked as a Translator for a local financial translation house and her main focus was the translation of IPO related documents such as prospectuses, annual reports, circulars and press releases. Prior to that, Stella worked as an Assistant Manager for an advertising company in Hong Kong for three years.

Stella was awarded a BA in Translation from the then Lingnan College, Hong Kong. She also holds an MA in Chinese Linguistics (with Distinction) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an MA in Translation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Katherine Sze has twelve years of experience in translation services, specializing in the areas of financial and legal translation. Katherine has handled a variety of projects ranging from market commentaries and prospectuses, health articles, annual reports and marketing material. Her clients include leading international asset management companies such as ABN AMRO, Citigroup, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton and Invesco.

Prior to joining the Company in 2005, Katherine worked in a number of prominent financial printing houses in Hong Kong, and has extensive experience in translating legal and financial documents such as IPOs, annual reports, circulars and contracts. Katherine was awarded a BA in English by the Chinese University of Hong Kong

Christine Yau has more than ten years' experience in translation services, specializing in the areas of finance, banking and insurance for the Greater China Market. As a Senior Translation Officer for the Company, Christine deals with a variety of projects ranging from investment reports, prospectuses, websites, annual reports and marketing material. Her clients include, among others, BlackRock, Citigroup, Fidelity, Fortis, HSBC and UBS.

Christine was awarded a BA in Translation and Chinese by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and an International Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management by the Institute of Administrative Management, UK.

Jessica Chan is mainly responsible for translating market commentaries and fund reports for multinational corporations such as ABN AMRO, Aberdeen International Fund Managers, Fortis, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton and Invesco.

Prior to joining the company in 2008, Jessica worked as a freelance translator for Research International mainly translating questionnaires for the purpose of market research. The scope of this research ranged from fashion, food and beverage to insurance and healthcare. Previous working experience with a local private equity firm also gave her exposure to the financial field.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Translation from the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2005.

As a Translation Officer of the Company, Sau-ha Lo handles a variety of projects including fund commentaries, investment updates, corporate communications and marketing materials. The clients she serves include multinational financial groups such as Aberdeen International Fund Managers, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Julius Baer, Henderson Global Investors, HSBC, Invesco, Man Investments and UBS.

Sau-ha joined the Company in 2006. Prior to that, she worked as a Translator for Sing Tao Daily for eight years specializing in International Financial News. Her major duties included translation of international financial news, proof-reading and information research.

Sau-ha graduated from California State University, Pomona, USA, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Man-leung Tang has eight years solid experience in financial translation. Initially, he worked as a business reporter and was an investment feature writer for local newspapers which gave him substantial exposure to the financial field. As a translator, he has worked for several prominent financial printing houses with responsibility for projects ranging from public documentation for listed companies in Hong Kong to market commentaries and product sheets for international investment companies.

Man-leung joined the Company in 2007 as a Translation Officer. The clients he serves include multinational asset managers such as Aberdeen International Fund Managers, BlackRock, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, HSBC, Citigroup and Invesco.

Man-leung graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics from the University of Manitoba, Canada. He has also been awarded a Post-graduate Diploma in Translation from SPACE, the University of Hong Kong.

Jason Wong started his career as a financial translator and reporter with a leading bi-lingual financial website in Hong Kong. He translated daily articles by financial guru Tony Measor as well as the market commentaries of Dr. Marc Faber. He also contributed bi-lingual CEO interview articles on listed companies in Hong Kong. Jason then worked as a financial editor at the Hong Kong Economic Times. He edited local and international business and financial articles on a daily basis as well as researching financial topics such as the sub-prime mortgage crisis.

Jason joined this company in 2008 as a Translation Officer. He is mainly responsible for translating market commentaries and fund reports for multinational corporations such as BlackRock, Fortis, Fidelity, HSBC and Invesco.

He was awarded a BA in Translation from the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2005, and is currently pursuing an MA in Translation at HKBU.

Wing-kin Wong began his career with a local translation company, where he accumulated valuable experience in translating public announcements, circulars and IPO prospectuses for companies listed on the Main Board and GEM Board.

Wing-kin joined the company in 2005 to expand his scope and competence in the translation of investment materials. He is mainly responsible for translating market commentaries, fund reports, sales kits and marketing brochures for multinational corporations like Allianz Global Investors, Citigroup, Fidelity, Fortis, HSBC, Invesco and Franklin Templeton. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2002, and was granted a BA in English Studies and Geography.

The Translation Team is supported by Administrative Officer Jessie Chan, together with Administrative Assistants Vivian Kam and Terry Kwan.
